| Patricia was born in Hampshire on 5th August, 1940 during an air raid. She is the second child of Lionel McAskie and Betty (nee Pope)She and her family spent most of the Second World War in Peebles, Scotland. | After the War the family settled in Rochdale, Lancashire, England. Patricia attended Art College there and then went to Goldsmiths in London. |

| She married Fredrick Arthur Harrison in London in 1964. They had
two children -
Nicola
and Kegan. She worked as an art teacher at St Bonaventures School in Liverpool. The picture above shows her in the Lake District with her daughter, Nicola in 1967. |
Patricia moved to London in 1978. She was a teacher of art and
technology at Sladebrook School and Copeland School. Other jobs she had included tree surgeon, carpet fitter and gardener. She married Eugene McLaughlin in 1992. She retired in 1997. The picture above shows her with her younger granddaughter, Mairi in Edinburgh, 1998. |
